Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass
- Valid CSCS Slinger/Signaller
- Valid CSCS Mobile Crane
- Full, Clean Driver Licence (Category C) with minimum 1 year professional driving experience essential
- Excellent timekeeping
- Candidates must be flexible regarding their work hours
NOTE: Full training will be provided for Trainee Crane Drivers. Valid Safe Pass and CSCS Slinger/Signaller desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and Operate mobile cranes based on manufacturers specifications
- Operate and adhere to Lift Plans, Risk Assessments/Method Statements
- Inspect clearances, overhead lines, and other possible obstructions to ensure there are no accidents or damage to employees, buildings, loads, or equipment
- Inspect and assesses ground conditions to ensure that the crane can be set up safely
- Inspect cranes for defects and wear prior to operation and document machine safety checks each day
- Perform necessary minor repairs or maintenance
- Comply with all applicable safety laws, guidelines, and best practices
- Maintain logs and records of operation activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Working with a banksman and others as applicable to ensure site safety
- Report any issues immediately
- Maintain crane in a good and clean condition
- Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment required
