Job Description

Experienced and Trainee positions available, Full training will be provided for Trainee Crane Drivers. Valid Safe Pass and CSCS Slinger/Signaller desirable.

Position Overview:
The Mobile Crane Operator will be responsible for operating mobile cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment at construction sites. This role requires adherence to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the crane and the safety of all personnel on site.

Requirements:
· Valid Safe Pass.
· Valid CSCS Slinger/Signaller.
· Valid CSCS Mobile Crane.
· Full, Clean Driver Licence (Category C).
· Excellent timekeeping.
· Candidates must be flexible regarding their work hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and Operate mobile cranes based on manufacturers specifications.
• Operate and adhere to Lift Plans, Risk Assessments/Method Statements.
• Inspect clearances, overhead lines, and other possible obstructions to ensure there are no accidents or damage to employees, buildings, loads, or equipment.
• Inspect and assesses ground conditions to ensure that the crane can be set up safely.
• Inspect cranes for defects and wear prior to operation and document machine safety checks each day.
• Perform necessary minor repairs or maintenance.
• Comply with all applicable safety laws, guidelines, and best practices· 
• Maintain logs and records of operation activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Working with a banksman and others as applicable to ensure site safety· 
• Report any issues immediately.
• Maintain crane in a good and clean condition.
• Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment required.
