Description:  New Mixer Tower Extension
 
  • The site works for the project included site clearance, removal of concrete slabs, bund walls and preparation of formation level for the installation of steel cored piles, installation of in-situ ground beams, substructure make up and installation of concrete floor slab.
  • The building itself included the supply and erection of the main structural support frame (Cira. 30m high), external cladding, internal platforms, secondary steel supports for platforms and equipment and all ancillary and associated works.
  • Works also involved liaising with plant and equipment supplier and lifting all new machinery into place as works processes.
  • Co-ordinating Mechanical and Electrical works.
  • The scheduling and carrying out of all works were coordinated with Lakeland Agri Ltd as the operation of the Existing Plant could not be interrupted or disturbed in any way during the works.
